Is this an obscure reference to Bob Wallace's modified Uracco, which was also named Bob?

Why am I suddenly logged out?

If you crash it you will totally believe it is a 20-year-old design. IIRC these had all the crash protection of a wet cereal packet.

Bye, Acura Beakface Fastback SUV Thing. Don't let the door hit ya in the poorly-styled ass, etc. Maybe you'd like to take your BMW equivalent with you and make the roads even less of a fug place to be?

If they're selling this in the UK, here's how it will look most of the time here, courtesy of Ford's weird top up/down slidey thing on their website:

You saved me the bother of posting this...

Wow, that Javelin is vinylroofalicious!

Because this:

The front looks a bit like those 2 Mustangs Sonny & Cher had customised.

I have a smaller Mustang Bertone.

Ooh, let's have a competition to name this, then end up calling it Driving Really Fast Grey.

"And now we have a new Mini. It's larger on the outside and smaller in a key area."

And still I do not know how to pronounce Hoda's last name.

At least the US version had a cutoff date that prevented too many vintage cars falling into the trap, unlike the scheme that the miserable labour government here in the UK put in place as a desperate attempt at keeping their one-eyed imbecile prime minister and his rabid pack of social engineers in power for another

You seriously thought this was a real Countach? Look at the pop-ups, far too big, corners far too rounded. And the space between the vents on the rear fenders and the scoops behind the rear side windows; far too close, hood badge up too high and that's before you even get to that totally-wrong wing and the one-piece

A little more info; the one at the top is a standard Mk1 Transit body mounted by Ford on a Ford GT40 chassis in 1968. The lower one is its successor, a fibreglass Mk2 Transit silhouette mounted on a Ford C100 Group C car fitted with a Cosworth engine.

The Ford Transit Supervan family:

It's pretty much my favourite car, so I also prefer it to the E-Type. They are both beautiful, but the 2000GT has a weird space-age quirkiness to it that just sets it apart.

Oh Toyota, you started out so well. Where did it all go so very wrong?
