Bring back the suicide rear doors. The rest will follow.
Actually that's Fatima Blush's Renault 5 Turbo, but still awesome.
Congrats on a great point.
Actually, I think we're both half-right. It is a Riley, but you're right about the front:it's not a Pathfinder. A little further research makes it a Riley Two-Point-Six - the badge-engineered Wolseley 6/90 Series III. This had the exact same front as the Wolseley, which the Pathfinder, of course, didn't. It also makes…
Actualy, the "Austin I think" is a Riley Pathfinder. And amazingly, it and it's UK-issued number plate VVC 819 is still in the UK's DVLA car database (screenshot attached). It was first registered on April 9th 1958 and last registered in the UK on 24 October 1984. Oddly, the export marker shows as "N" which I think…
Not my taste and too new for me anyway, but props to a fellow member of the VW scene for doing quality work (whether you're into wood engine bays or not) and being involved in the Volkswagen community in a positive way. Congrats to him and his lady on their impending arrival and best of luck with the sale!
Hopefully this woman will get life. Also, judging by the pictures, it was a TR6, not a Spitfire, which was an altogether more substantial car. Coincidentally, today near where I was in the UK a woman was killed when her modern car was rear-ended by a Porsche Cayenne after she broke down on the motorway and her car…
So. Many. Cases. Of. This.
@Gil Fabian That is because you have not seen what the fronts look like.
Peugeot 308 cc. The love child of the Toyota Solara and a Proboscis Monkey.
I wonder if SCDP will still get the Honda cars account they were promised first shot at last season - if they do, then in a few years time, they will do far better out of the Civic than the XJS...
"The Biarritz's high price rather unsurprisingly translated into low sales numbers—only 1320 were produced. According to the seller of those 1320 this is the only known surviving example with black paint, top and interior."
Cool! I saw it while I was in NYC about 2 months ago.
There's also a Citroen GS that lives in New York. It moved there from France, judging by the license plates. And it has the scars to prove it too!
Dear Toyota,
This is very cool, but actually Iso built a similar Isetta-based truck called the Isocarro back when they were making the car.
Aha! OK, yeah, I read an article about this thing in a magazine years ago and as soon as I saw it wasn't mentioned in this article, I was like Mwahahaha, I must post about it and look clever. The only thing is, I can't remember what it's called. The headlights, however, are unforgettable....
Citroen 2CV or Dyane Van.
All this car needs is a pair of fangs beneath the front bumper to bite down and suck your wallet dry.
