Reluctant CP. I like old Mister 2s, but this one is pretty clapped out for $2500
Shame. I would nice price this if it were stock. “Many mods” sends me running to that CP button
Don’t count on wheel locks deterring people for very long. A breaker bar and some elbow grease is all you need to break one of them loose
The P must be for “Pass”
Oh I’m very familiar with getting blackout drunk. For the drinker it’s a lot like time travel, except you ruin parties.
Are we sure this was alcohol? Driving around unaware that you have a shattered sunroof with a pole through it? Sounds more like heroin or oxy
“Custom convertible” screams CP at me. If he wanted a ‘vert Datsun so bad, should’ve gotten a 1600
I used to make fun of people like this, but then I backed into a parking lot planter. My ego is way more damaged than the car
Cash for Clunkers sent a lot of these to the scrapper. If that program hadn’t happened, I bet you would still see them crawling along
A long time ago, a friend of mine had a theory that he could get by on $500 cars. Buy a running car for $500, put little to no money into maintenance, and then drive it until it broke. We all laughed at his first purchase, an 84 cavalier. The poor thing was dead within a month. Abandoned on a highway with scraped VINs…
Thank god this is happening. I’m going to need a lot of these on used lots in 2 years when I pay off my WRX, because i’ll be damned if i’m going to buy a GT2 new
Not enough power with the turbo, YUGE blindspots, solid rear axle. I’m going to continue ignoring this sad little car
It’s a beautiful example of a car that is just not that desirable. CP
no manual
I’ll buy a used GT2 RWD in about 3 years, preferably in that dark blue they’re offering.
$5k buys you a lot of car in today’s market. This may be a rare Jetta, but I’m not a VW fetishist, so i’m going to pass. CP
$33k for the base model. Optioned out with things you actually want like radar cruise and a moonroof that price is closer to $40k.
Did it have a 6 cylinder turbo? Did you read the comment?
>Now if only Subaru would drop a turbo in their 6 cyl. Legacy....
