Yeah my old Legacy broke rear wheel bearings like it was it’s job. Just imagine how much more expensive those parts would be if the car were german, though

Can’t argue with that. I live in the south and most of the Subies I see are driven by WRX-bros like me or by soccer moms

Agreed. Proactive systems in general are pretty amazing. I read an article not too long ago (it might’ve been posted here) that Audi is planning on dropping Torsen systems across the entire brand, in favor of Haldex

Yeah it can get you moving, but it won’t magically stop you on ice unless you have some awesome winter tire setup

Under normal driving conditions, the 4th Gen Haldex shifts 90% torque to the front. Generation V, which we’re talking about here, turns AWD completely off during normal conditions.

AWD will not save you from icy intersections, Haldex or not

Well then it definitely won’t be a competitor. This thing sits at the same price as the base outback, but the outback is a much larger car.

Hahahaha a Haldex AWD system is absolutely no match for Subaru’s AWD. This will not be an Outback or Forester competitor

No cage, extensive drivetrain and powertrain mods. I feel like this one is more epic than the Roadkill version, albeit slower.

DON’T WANNA HEAR YOU SAYYYYYYYY

Yeah the FA20 likes to consume oil, I check mine every 1000 miles or so

You had me at fastback

Stance nation bros wreck their cars, kind of a lot. That’s why I have to pay bullshit insurance premiums for my WRX. You should be able to find salvage cars in your area, no one said your donor car had to be pretty

CP.

Those front seats! That rubber shift boot! That new clutch! NP all day erryday.

No just paint it bright yellow from the belt line up

There aren’t many Camrys at cars and coffee either, but that isn’t a reason to buy one

Time capsule for sure, but there’s so many better options for mid-engine runabouts.

Comedy Option: Used Smart ForTwo with the targa roof
