i think she is pretty transparent about her ambition... i dont think anyone does all she does without wanting to be number 1. (unless you mean that she disguises it in "artiness"?)

EVERY artist draws from others. to say she pays homage to madonna (although that was two albums ago) or anyone else is itself a reductive comment.

i love her. i always have but then i saw her in concert and she did these stripped down versions of her songs on piano - she is immensely talented, can sing/dance/write. people hate on her up and down but i think she is so legit.

i actually thought it was a fantastic performance - the dressing and undressing make perfect sense as the lyrics are about "living for the applause" - being a performer/what is authentic/real etc. even if it didnt make sense with the lyrics it matches the video.

you still have to be able to CONTROL that ass flesh while keeping the top of you relatively stable. (spoken as a woman with an ass that would LOVE to learn to twerk.)

the linked article says she took a helicopter... there is no place to land a plane, even a private jet in nyc. you have to go to the private airports in jersey and westchester and long island...

i'm not saying its NORMAL but its not uncommon for rich folks to heli to and from the hamptons...

with sam taylor-johnson directing and hot piece like jax teller in the lead (and nude often - hope hope hope!) - i would see 50 shades in the theater. i read a couple pages of the first book and was so bored and horrified at the poor writing - but jax teller is too fine not to look at on screen.
