I have been weirdly wanting the 124 lately.
I have been weirdly wanting the 124 lately.
Because they’re stupid.
Really? No. First, KG is almost “LG.” Second, at least here in the USA, if you use the word “mobility” on your product, we think of this:
Barguest, if you’re reading this: What an excellent story about your Jensen Healey. A comment like yours is what keeps me coming back to this site. Thanks.
K I’m biased but
One of the main reasons is because people don’t like that they can’t see up the road because of the SUVs and pickups in front of them. It’s a race to the tallest car possible. People have also been convinced that any car without four-wheel-drive and and extra two inches of clearance will suddenly skid off the road…
The Phoenix 9-3. It was so close to production, and if it had made it, could’ve saved Saab, if only for a little while longer. It was a car worthy of the name, not badge-engineered leftovers.
That’s idiotic, one of the first of the modern wave of EVs was a roadster based on a Lotus.
Absolutely everything in your story points to the deal that was meant to be. Crotchety flakey guy did you a favor and helped align the stars. Congrats on a purchase that obviously makes you happy.
...and this is how you do a project car! (most of us)
Your Jensen looks amazing!
This looks SO much nicer. Gorgeous work!
Beautiful car. You know the one part I’m having trouble sourcing on mine is the boot lock. It’s off a Sunbeam or something and I can’t find them anywhere.
Gorgeous car, I love the color and the wheels!
F that, GOP is terrible. Period.
“Crown cut” sounds fancy but it’s just the normal way that boards are sawn from a log. Quarter sawn is actually more expensive because it’s more complicated and creates more waste, but it gives you a different grain pattern which is sometimes preferred. Quarter sawn boards are also more dimensionally stable.
That’s one weird assed automotive fetish. I’d probably enjoy having a beer with that guy just so I could ask him, “So, why Prowlers? I totally understand one of them in your fleet, but, dude, why not throw in a Viper or some Vettes to mix it up? “. I bet he’s an interesting dude.
I’m sure Adrian Newey will come up with some sort of brilliant way to make flexible helmet aero bits, that somehow meet scrutiny during parc ferme, while MBZ will allow it’s drivers to move their visor with their tongues, in a completely legal manner but to the protest of every other team, and Ferrari will figure out…
I mean it's not great but if you go by a GM dealer there will be a whole lot full of new Silverados to prove you wrong.
