He actually hit .202, not .250. He certainly did better than I ever would but let's not pretend he was actually respectable. I saw him play in person, it was kind of embarrassing. He got better as the season went along but he was still pretty bad by the end.

I wonder if these wouldn't also be a great product for sidewalks, especially in northern climates. Provides lighting for safety, melts snow for a safer waking surface, etc.

Eh, I did the same thing (just show up for exams) for my first three years at Wisconsin in an engineering discipline, including more than a couple 300 level courses. I did just fine. And I didn't have the support of the Fetzer Center like they did.
