See - I think that you are still thinking Space Marine. If you want to play Imperial Guard, just play anything WW2 with Stalingrad in it. As an imperial guard player, I've found that Stalingrad pretty much sums up the Imperial Guard experience.

I think it has more to do with other things - from the pictures I saw, there's more female demon hunters than male, more male barbarians than female barbarians - about the only one I saw that seemed evenly split was the witch doctor. Probably has something to do with the 'default' gender for the characters.
