So I just went and told my 14 year old daughter that I had posted a defense of “the worst movies ever made”. She responded without prompt that “They’re kind of fun to watch”...and then we realized that she thought I meant BvS and Man of Steel. *snort-laugh* Too funny.

I had to post a shoutout from a household of six that is in your camp. We all love many things from the prequels. I love the podrace, sometimes I just watch the podrace for a moment of distraction. I’m 51, stood in line for all 3 original movies. VI was date with a parent chaperone!

I am! Watched Port Adelaide v Carlton this morning. Why this never really caught on in the US I will never understand. Semi-violent crashes, lots of scoring and tremendous athleticism.

Regardless of whether any sort of high-falutin’ meaning was intended or accomplished, anyone who can’t acknowledge the sheer awesomeness of the first fight scene is dead inside.
