I thought it was joint owned by the two of them? Gamefreak only make games for Nintendo systems, which implies they may be owned by Nintendo.
They claim it's because Pokemon is designed to be a portable game. I'd just be happy for a new Stadium game. (with DS compatibility!)

If you can get access to a PS3 I can't recommend MGS4 enough. Ignore the long cutscene haters!* It's a great game.
I might get a PS4 pad, but I do have a cable to use a PS2 pad, or a USB to use my PS3 one.
I know Nintendo is determined to keep it purely a handheld, but I can't help but feel I'd get more enjoyment out of my 3DS if I could conveniently connect it to a TV and a controller.
Spec's please, I've been holding off getting a new graphics card to ensure I can run MGSV on max (though I'm sure there's more demanding games).
