I know snake was meant to do a roundhouse kick in MGS but for some reason they didn't include it.

That's possibly a shame, it looks like MGSV is going to bring back some of Peace Walkers features, the Outer Ops feature has been confirmed for instance.

It's nothing like that at all, the First letter of NES stands for Nintendo. It was their first console, so "The Nintendo" totally makes sense. Your the only one that had trouble with it :/

I take "Legacy" as games he was directly involved in, if he was with Portable Ops then it really should be included.
