That isn't true in a lot of cases. The difference is that a PC gamer needs to know a lot more about the hardware in their machine, how to install it, and where to download old games, many of which can't be downloaded legally.

I think people let them slide a lot because they say straight out their stuff is plainly just cosmetic. Look at all the hats they sell for no reason. If you get the right consumers with low priced items they think they will just buy one of, you have a goldmine.
