firstly I want to mention that humanity stacks at 10, so anything above 10 on the counter is not doing you anything (look at your stats, there is a stat for finding items. it maxes at 410, and that's with the serpent ring and using 10 humanity).

That's an odd definition given that protagonist/antagonist are usually definitions used when discussing narrative. When I said he was never an antagonist I meant that he's never been someone who is standing in your way story wise... also depending on what version of SF2 you played you may not even face him at all

except in the 80's the game was made by Japanese and not Americans. In fact Zangief the prototype was originally supposed to be a Russian sailor named 'vodka' . They were just working with stereotypes and there was nothing political about it

Both Street Fighter 2 the animated movie and street fighter v aren't really considered cannon though (though there are some elements which were taken from the movie)
