I have to say, my worries are somewhat abated. I still don't know if mass audiences will accept a completely goofy Marvel movie, but goddamn if it doesn't look good to me.

Don't give up hope! There was a shot of a prop table some time ago that showed a very similar helmet, and if the movie spends any time in vacuum, I think we are likely to see it.

Early concept art pushed the helmet, so I'm betting he'll wear it at some point, but I doubt it would be more than a scene or two.

There's a POP! vinyl figure of Star Lord that was leaked and it shows him with the helmet.
