“243 pages with 9 pages of science? Now that feels like an A!” - Thornton Melon

Those are good points. And if Deadspin weren’t the only place I ever saw Whitlock’s name anymore, I’d be inclined to be on your side in terms of this being a big story. But he’s not a menace we need protection from. He’s a hack, as you said. A hack whose projects will undoubtedly fail without any prodding from the

I agree with the criticism, but you’re right. I guess I just don’t find it funny anymore.

So, if ESPN gave Skip Bayless a website, Deadspin would do numerous pieces telling us that he’s a hapless fraud? Fair enough. But I’m pretty sure that would again be something of which everyone (especially the readers of Deadspin) was already aware. I just find all of this very repetitive, no matter how well deserved.

I still don’t understand Deadspin’s hard on for Jason Whitlock (I get that it’s “funny”, but only for so long IMO). Guy is a non-entity. And we can keep him that way by simply ignoring him.

I didn’t know anyone still did plaster casting. Impressive.

Thank. You.

We’ll probably continue to see an increase in text on uniforms going forward. All leading up to the inevitable. Ads on jerseys.

McBride as Steiner is a great call. FOLLOW ME TO FREEDOM!

More like Kung Fu Panda Express, guy!

I liked this story a lot more when it was a King of the Hill episode...

So Stevie Wonder can see, but Chipper Jones is blind? Got it.

You sure he doesn't have Nationwide?

"Hyperbole is uncalled for unless I'm the one using it!"

Grew up in Southeastern Mass thinking EVERYONE ate Portuguese food ALL OF THE TIME. And they should. It's delicious.

Oh, of course. They care the most about the results. But they're just stubborn old baseball guys. I was referring to those who had yet to be jaded.

This stuff is annually hilarious, I grant you that. But anyone that actually cares about this stuff anymore is either financially invested, or younger than 15 years old.

Went to see the last Hobbit. Most people laughed through the bulk of that Kingsmen trailer. The Mad Max one, as well.
