How much of a difference is it actually going to make vs using Comcast’s DNS? I live in a major metro, in the city, and use a VPN (so all the other benefits are not really a factor). Are we talking increases in the single to double digit MBPS range? Will torrents finish noticeably quicker? Will websites load noticeably…

I feel the same way. I can’t figure out if it’s because I am proficient in the kitchen and the potential time savings don’t seem worth the effort or if I’ve just never found a recipe that truly makes something easier  or shorter than cooking it the normal way.  

They were still built in England though. Maybe those few years where they used all BMW engines and electrics helped make them much more reliable/cheaper to repair than years on either side of it. There’s a reason why British cars and reliability haven’t been synonymous for decades.

This is most evident by everything Dubai (and the other UAE states) have done for the past 6ish decades. Take oil money and use it to fund stuff that will make money after oil.

Their wealth fund is pretty amazing in and of itself. Any country with the foresight to save a large portion of their oil profits in a sovereign wealth fund and allow it grow to over $1 trillion is pretty mind boggling.

The English fox hunting crowd will definitely utilize that.  But that’s about it.
