100% agree. 99.9% of this looks great. Mario looks kind of weird, but fine.

The problem is that they are kind of the “Reddit” of wikis focused on specific topics. Very few shows or games or anything have a dedicated source of information that goes into the level of detail that fans may be looking for.

I’m firmly in the camp of “I don’t care because everything I have seen that Roiland has made was not worth watching a second episode of” but I would imagine the general consensus is going to be:

As others have said, the charge isn’t the problem, the absurd cost is. The Apollo dev said Apollo makes about 7 billion calls per month, and would be subject to charges of $12,000 per 50 million requests for that access.

I would reread what was written because it doesn’t sound related to lag. It is assumed that the protective shield despawned when loading started but there’s a time window where environmental damage can still occur after the shield despawns but before the load finished. That time window presumably exists even without

If Twitch really wants to make more money off of this they really seem to be going at it ass-backwards. If they cut the revenue split lower than 70/30 at all it should be on a sliding scale based on monthly subs a channel has. Like income tax.

A friend of mine experimented with streaming on YT in response to Twitch’s last screw up and it’s really disappointing how shit YouTube’s streaming is.

I severely doubt the last paragraph. She'll be working in Republican politics within a decade.

That’s normally the case in the US for wealthy people. However that only applies when ripping off normal folks. She ripped off wealthy people, they won't let that stand.

I’m not really one of those people who say “this isn’t FF because of X or Y”. It’s FF because it is FF, even if the tone or the gameplay aren’t those that I prefer compared to other games in the series. I think how much the developers try new stuff is very praiseworthy, even if it doesn’t work for me each time.

I appreciate the comment but I mean... Can’t you just ban the very person who is very obviously mentally unwell, and is repeatedly saying that? Your comment is about people facing acceptable punishment for breaking rules, why not set such an example?

They likely mean Bethesda Softworks, the Publisher of the Elder Scrolls and modern Fallout games, not Bethesda Game Studios, the developer of FO3/4.

Celebrity or no, I give a shit about anyone and everyone's opinion if their opinions represent a threat to the safety and happiness of innocent people who aren't hurting anyone.

From Nintendo’s standpoint, sure. They are definitely the right studio because Miyamoto is free to meddle to his heart’s content and they’re more than happy for it. It will definitely make Nintendo millions of dollars.

I haven’t seen it myself but the main complaints I saw was that the writing was low effort, even for Illumination. Lazy jokes, lazy story, etc.

A debuff called "Temporal Disruption" where for 1 hour of real time your character will experience effects as if they had a bad connection. Inputs being eaten, rubber banding backwards, that kind of shit.

Sure, it’s a fun fan theory and there’s nothing wrong with it. Most of the comments here are just pointing out the massive leap in logic from being a good allegory for trans individuals and “this character is absolutely trans, 100%”.

I think it was a mix of both. I dropped off after Gen 2 and a lot of the reason was the opinion of Pokemon at my school changed from “this is fun” to “this is for babies” around that time, and being about 12 years old I was more inclined to go with the general opinion rather than just do what I like.

“No but see with this EA can allow you to resell the NFT to other people (they won’t) and they can let purchases carry over and be used in multiple games (they won’t)! Those are things you can’t do with a centralized database (you totally can)!”
