It makes me curious what it specifically is about the Switch that makes porting a 20 year old game to it so difficult compared to other systems.

Lol what the hell are you talking about? They expressed a reasonable surprise at one situation and stated they wished the study gave more detail on what parts of the games were analyzed because it would give better context on the dialog ratios.
