I’m torn on that thought. On one hand, it’s a single player game so it isn’t ruining online play for others or anything. On the other hand, most hugely broken aspects of games are discovered months or years after release, not days after.

I mostly agree (I’m curious about what specific co-ed sports there are that you mention), but I do think there’s a potential issue with doing it for all sports if you are gating leagues by “skill” and the top level skill groups are mostly or entirely filled by a specific gender.
