Well since one commenter replying to you is not being helpful and the other is being a shitty person by equating people wanting to feel comfortable in their bodies with the antics of a cartoonish fictional serial killer, allow me to put it in simple terms.
“Living well is the best revenge”
I’m torn on that thought. On one hand, it’s a single player game so it isn’t ruining online play for others or anything. On the other hand, most hugely broken aspects of games are discovered months or years after release, not days after.
Not to mention the fact that an overwhelming number of people in the tabletop role playing fandom either has the knowledge themselves or directly knows a guy who can "acquire" a searchable PDF version for absolutely no cost.
If they had just done that to begin with most people would probably have been fine with it. They'd make more money just offering a family plan at an additional 2-3 bucks per month than they will make from people getting their own accounts instead of sharing with friends.
I doesn’t really seem like it would be a lot of extra cost or effort. Most data they need would already be received, such as IP, device ID, and what server they connect to. All they need to do is do an initial check on the existing information combos, a check once every 1-3 months on ones that haven’t changed, and…
I remember an awful lot of comments like this about 8 years ago. Before things got bad, then really bad, then worse.
If a media outlet can't survive without clickbait, exaggerating stories, and outright lying, maybe they don’t deserve to exist at all.
I mostly agree (I’m curious about what specific co-ed sports there are that you mention), but I do think there’s a potential issue with doing it for all sports if you are gating leagues by “skill” and the top level skill groups are mostly or entirely filled by a specific gender.
While I’m also a fan of “co-ed” leagues/tournaments, I still think there's a place for tournaments like this. It can be a good way to try and pull in fans and players of a specific group that may not otherwise be willing to engage with the larger community for various reasons.
Zelda games have always had one of two relationship states for Link and Zelda:
I don’t know the exact arguments you’ve definitely used to justify your calling black people racial slurs in the past.
You don’t need to look my friend. Meta already had a file on you and your personal info, even if you didn’t use their services. I purchased your info without your consent for 3 dollars and a ham sandwich so let me check...
The “bad actor” part is true but idk how big of a deal that would actually be. If they design the system with any semblance of intelligence, the exposed area would only be like 6 feet per car and there’s not a lot a bad actor could really do except vandalism, but I don’t really think that will be a huge issue.
I think at some point, if you build your business from nothing and struggle and finally turn it around to make it a success where you *could* do that, your mindset has shifted to the point where you think "I made this, therefore I'm the only one who can keep it on track."
As weird as it sounds, it’s probably cheaper to do this than to donate it for various reasons.
Yeah all of the stuff that this can do is equally possible and easier with a simple database. Each one gets an ID and a randomly generated Uthentication Code (I misspelled “Authentication” but considering we’re talking about Ubisoft they would likely brand it like that anyways so I kept it lol) and you register it to…
Even besides the rooftops, they should be making solar paneled parking lots. I think back to the office I used to work at in California. 3 parking lots shared across 2 office buildings (owned by the same company) on a nice flat area with no big shadows. A check on Google shows the area of the parking lot is 181.5…
I liked Beetlejuice (except the ending, where stuff just kind of happens to resolve the major conflict as fast as possible and then Lydia float dances for a bit), but it seems kind of unnecessary to make a sequel 35 years after the original film.
