It really wasn’t. It was a painfully generic multiplayer shooter with a pretty skin on it. Gameplay was boring, there were only 3 match types, and only a couple of the maps were any good. My entire high school friend group was excited when it was announced and eagerly bought it.

That is how I wind up feeling about most of these multiplayer games. Every game has different events that occur within them, but the gameplay loop is extremely simple and repetitive. Combine that with there being no over-arching plot or story development and it just can’t draw me in. Besides, it's such an easy system…

Sorta does make sense though. In addition to audio and video streaming, you also need to stream a constant feed of button inputs and it simply won’t work as a product with excessive delay.

That wasn't a glitch. That was an intended design feature and it was absolutely terrible.
