Even Zelda 2 is better than Skyward Sword. It had a lot of old school jank because they didn't really know how to make solid RPGs back then but if they remastered it and fixed some of the weird text and janky translation I would rather play that than SS.

I wouldn’t say Skyward Sword is completely terrible, but I would say it is easily the worst mainline Zelda game. Bad controls, lots of repetitive gameplay, annoying Navi on steroids, etc.

I’m in agreement as well. Randomized enemy spawns just aren’t enough to keep a game like that fresh. It’s still the exact same level over and over, except one time a Boomer will be in location X and the other time it might be a Smoker.

So... Did they not say which 3 games are included or are we just leaving out massive details in posts now? Same thing happened the other day with RE8 DLC.

Two Things:

I don’t even get that quote from him.

Right? This take doesn’t even make sense. “I bet these guys got stung by bad PR so they purposefully created even more bad PR in order to prevent themselves from getting bad PR.

I hope when they say co-op open world they mean actual open world for both players simultaneously, not some sort of tether system that keeps players within X distance of each other.

And a Fern Gully retelling, and a Dances With Wolves retelling... It's easy to be considered good when you are nothing more then a new coat of paint on movies that were already made.

Roblox isn’t a game so much as a game development platform. Users would want to upload music to use in the games they make.

Big Corellian ships and huge tracts of land.

On a related note, what I wouldn't give for a squad-based tactical shooter. You know, like the R6 games that were good.

If the biggest positive points you could muster about the Wii U was that the controllers (which are a decade old) are cheaper than the latest console’s newer, improved controllers and that it has some of the games that the Switch has, you’re not really giving it a glowing review lol.

Not really all that surprising. They have removed or changed a bunch of splashes over the years, including some music and game references and a shout out to the Minecraft Forum when it looked like it was going to be shut down (despite the fact that it instead was sold and is still active).

As much as I support keeping old games alive via emulation, especially for games that we all know are never going to see a rerelease, everything this guy in particular did seemed to be stupid decisions.

You do know there are countries besides America right? You might even be surprised to learn that Ubisoft (the publisher) and Ubisoft Montreal (the developer) are based in such countries.

Sonic Team: You'll get another poorly made 3D Sonic game that controls like ass and its tedious to play and you'll LIKE IT GOD DAMN IT!

I’ve only ever played Dragon Quest 1 and 2, both the tedious original NES games and the streamlined re-release as Dragon Warrior 1+2 on Gameboy Color. I also played Dragon Warrior Monsters 1 and 2 which I know are spinoffs.

Again, you don’t really seem to know what you are talking about. ESO is developed by ZeniMax Online Studios. Numbered entries in the TES franchise are done by Bethesda Game Studios. Different studios, different budgets.

And yet I wouldn’t be surprised if they rerelease it on PS5/Series before we get a new TES game, regardless of the fact it is already playable via BC.
