I don’t know if this is the case in your situation and don’t want to presume, but it might be because you’re used to seeing the pixelated smoke for decades and this doesn’t look “bad” but you have a negative reaction just due to the sudden contrast.

I’ve been thinking of something similar while watching Better Call Saul on Netflix. My dream is to make an awesome, beloved series that runs for 6ish seasons. Then announce a prequel and make 2-3 seasons as normal.

Hell I didn’t even need to read your thoughts on the game to know I agree (I did read them though). The promo art you used for the header image just screams “you won’t remember me at all”.

But it has to be tightly controlled. It has to feel surprising but not random.

I’d have to agree there. A cool core mechanic, but so much of the game is just bloat, just hundreds of unnecessary moons for doing arbitrary and simple things. Plus level specific coins and all that.

Pancakes just suck. They are too dense and heavy, there is no contrast in textures, and they just absorb syrup and butter but then you can’t even taste them.

Idk what you are doing but if you have "crunchy lumps" in your waffles you are DEFINITELY making them wrong. That is like saying "I like spaghetti but I hate having to pick out the bones."

Agreed. I'll give it a shot because the original creator is attached and RR is usually good but I would have much preferred a film in the original animated style. Although likely done digitally to save on costs.

Regarding the show Nailed It on Netflix, having seen it I recommend watching any of them besides the US version. The host of the US version is so awful and annoying the show largely becomes unwatchable.

You can also punch yourself in the face without being a masochist, but that doesn’t mean you should subject yourself to it.

I’ve been considering picking this up, having never really played any DOOM previously other than the original for a little bit. From some gameplay I have watched it definitely seems like a bit much was added, like more for the sake of having more.

Updates from yesterday, my pup was suffering from a flare-up of his IBD, as well as a UTI. So he has some horse pill antibiotics but is otherwise doing just fine. If anyone is considering getting a dog, I’d steer away from purebreds, as they often have more health issues compared to mutts. We wouldn’t have gotten this

Animal Crossing is kind of a slow game, you could be doing literally any of those things while also playing Animal Crossing. Except other video games if the Switch is your only system I guess.

This morning my fiance had to bring our dog into work with her (she’s a vet tech) because he threw up yesterday and at about 4 AM he woke up and wouldn’t fall asleep again because he wasn’t feeling good. She just called me to let me know he has a fever and it is looking similar to an issue about 6 months ago that

To paraphrase a tweet:

Exactly. They won’t try and make a new Splinter Cell game until they can make it another one of Ubisoft’s trademarked “bloated, generic, open world games as a service with light RPG elements” title.

Beyond that, I’m really concerned about Game Informer. I really hope they make it through this, even if they get bought up by someone else.

The comparison is not apt, you’re arguing a different point than everyone else. The OP said that exclusives would be the determining factor for which system they eventually get. They never said exclusives are good. In fact I’d wager if you outright asked that they would probably say they dislike exclusives.

Yeah, sorry I'm not pushing 50. Not yet anyways, but I'll see you in 20 years lol.

In theory, 100% yes. In practice it also matters if the exclusive content is good or not but if you are making a scenario up where you have to choose between two products and each has exclusive content, then yes that content absolutely makes a difference.
