Exactly. Beyond all that, it is silly to expect a 1:1 recreation of our New York’s problems because this New York has an entirely different subset of problems.

It doesn’t have to be for everyone. It just has to be for enough people for it to be profitable.

Lucky you. To fill you in, a port of a game for Switch allows players to play as Toadette, who can get a crown that makes her look like Peach and is called Peachette. This is because people want to play as Peach, but it wouldn’t make sense because in the game Peach is captured. For some reason they did this instead of

Yep, I got suckered in by ITT Tech and have 50 grand of debt for a worthless degree. Luckily it doesn't seem entirely bleak since a judge allowed former students to be part of bankruptcy proceedings, so there is a chance I will get something back. Probably not much but anything helps.

I would say it is definitely due to social media. Besides the fact that it keeps a constant connection between people and drama, it also seems to slow people maturing. We’ve all seen how quickly smart, mature adults can get dragged into internet flame wars and suddenly start acting like kids.

FYI Punished Croissant is a troll

I disagree, that was the best one. Partially because of the humor from watching baddies get zipped up into the sky, partially because it was the only time in the game (so far, but I am in the final stretch) where MJ actually seems like a decent partner for SM, considering how hard they pushed that plot point.

That is odd. I usually turn my PC off when I'm not using it and I've never had it update in the middle of using it, even while gaming. But what seems to be the difference is I often see the option "Update then shut down", so it stays updated. Does that not appear on her PC?

The wave itself looks pretty damn good, but the follow-through is lacking. In the title image a wave that looks to be about a foot high is reduced to nothing in a short distance. It is kind of hard to tell with the lighting and on my phone but that wave should carry well past the player's feet before losing all

Well considering Steins;Gate was terrible as well, it really does look like history really is cyclical, no matter what you do to try and prevent it.

While not a bad idea by itself, can't you just start a new game or review the controls screen to solve 99.99% of the problems that make you want this feature?

Basically it means you are a fan but not part of the really cringey obsessive fandom. Same here.

Devolver being the publisher is the only thing making me think it won’t be just like any of the dime a dozen drug games you can find on Facebook (or on flash websites or text based browser MMOs from before FB was a thing)

Idk I think there is an equal chance of that or "Fortnite is demeaning to women and is treating them like sex objects."

Clearly they were making fun of the cloud saves being disabled for specific games for those two (stupid) reasons

Anyone else seeing the irony that a person accused of forcing himself on women who did not want him is being forced on the American people, the majority of which do not want him?

Probably has a lot to do with all the hoops you have to jump through just to chat. A lot of the impatient or childish people probably get frustrated with the idea of using a phone app and don’t bother.

They meant it would only be considered amazing if any other company did this, and that this is expected of Nintendo and/or their community will just give them a pass.

To fill you in, it’s a bit John Oliver has done a few times on his show. He made a point that Trump pretty much only watches Fox & Friends and Fox does a lot of senior-focused advertising (like catheters). So John made a character called the Catheter Cowboy and they bought ads during Fox & Friends in the DC area.

Since the "ninja run" has been done countless times before Naruto ever existed I don't doubt there is some grain of truth to the statement, but rather some anime 20+ years ago did it to save money and it has been a trend since.
