Yeah that second part is what got me.

I mean it is kind of interesting that the game was criticized for unnecessarily padding playtime with BS collectables yet can be beaten in less time than it takes some people to shower.

I mean... I have used Twitter for years and never had those problems. I only see tweets from people I follow and things they like or retweet. If I don’t want to see tweets from them I unfollow them.

So it’s more like Discord with a character limit, plus the Facebook “We used an algorithm to decide you probably want to see this” thing everyone hates.

I kind of think they meant Los Angeles. I could be wrong but considering so few people even remember Louisiana exists outside of Mardi Gras I think it is a safe bet.

Kotaku is probably the least “echo”y of all the GMG blogs lol. Go to Gizmodo or Jezebel or Splinter or The Root and you get a lot of:

You might be having the same issue I was with them. I’ve played a lot of the Arkham games and it conditioned me that pressing the dodge/counter buttons is immediate and basically overrides whatever the bad guy is doing. Spider-Man is different because there is only the dodge and it doesn’t override their behavior.

Warframe is what Destiny would be if it was a 3rd person shooter and fun.

Weren't all of these features already known for the most part because of test builds being easily available?

I would gladly shell out the cost of 3 brand new games to get remasters of 3, VC, and SA as a box set.

Well two people starred you so you aren't alone. You three can be wrong together.

It does seem like poor planning, especially when each match is 100 people and they just decided to make the finals 99 people for some reason. Why not just shove him in the first finals round and whichever person does worse in that round is eliminated? Or just do a quick extra match? It isn't like Fortnite rounds take

That's "Gamer" culture for you. A lot of "<developer/series/publisher> are Gods among us and can do no wrong!" followed by "They are irredeemable cancer and nobody should ever support them again" as soon as they do something that person doesn't like. This is just a subset of that larger attitude.

“For only a few hundred dollars (not including travel and lodging) you TOO can subject yourself to a 5 hour slog of watching a skilled group of performers waste their talent on shitty fan-fiction!"

I doubt it muddies the brand any more than the "Play Pokemon for Free" banner ads I see on every other YT video that leads directly to malware infested browser addons. Yet they don't seem to do shit about those considering I've seen them for like a decade now.

That sounds waaaaayyyy better than this mod

Yep, that is why I have had a GI sub for over a decade. I go there for actual gaming news and stay here to laugh at the hot takes, hypocrisy, pointless arguing, and whatever the latest crusade the writers decide to embark on.

I don’t know, I think the main issue is that the reverse scenario hasn’t really been explored. I can’t really think of a female secret agent story off the top of my head, where I can rattle off a half dozen male secret agents that meet this criteria.

I think it is a fair criticism if it detracts from the experience as a whole. For example, I think it is Zack Snyder who gets a lot of criticism because a lot of his films seem like poorly constructed reasons to lead you through multiple cool looking cinematic shots. Or I guess you could say the same for Michael Bay,

And I found out my quarterly bonus is as much as the last two quarters combined! This is a good day
