Good to know. That just makes him a hypocrite and more or less a troll himself. But hey, whatever you gotta do to feel morally superior I guess.

I don’t have a problem with him doing this, I’m more curious if he is dismissing and then responding to them anyways.

Very cool. I personally don’t give a shit about 4k but it could make for a neat multimonitor setup for a PC that only uses 1 monitor.

Man that joke was tired the day the article was posted on Kotaku

Yawn

Pretty much every speedrun record is set by someone doing a livestream from their own place or recording the footage from their place and submitting it. The footage is analyzed and they do their best to ensure it is legitimate.

I think the main difference is because it is rare that you could game a brick and mortar store like that for a profit like you could Steam. It takes more time, energy, and money to sell physical merch, you would have to hold the goods in a physical place until you sell them, people are less willing to pay decent price

I imagine it has no real value but it is more just that want to keep that information to themselves permanently.

Some people like to see the fastest clean run, some like the technical aspects of how the game works and how flaws/bugs in it can be manipulated to their advantage.

All about how you spin it. If you do it how you said then yes it will look bad. If you say you ran your own entertainment business and provided daily/weekly content that reached X number of viewers, filled the roles of host/entertainment personality, film editor, sound and music editor, director, and producer,

Well it isn’t like old games were immune to crashes or losing save data. I’ve definitely crashed and lost more save data on old NES, SNES, and Gameboy games than anything N64 or newer.

Comparing apples and oranges. BotW, while great, is very different than a Bethesda game. Bethesda has much more intensive AI, more quests that result in certain things needing to be there at a certain time, a whole bunch more stats and attributes and skills to worry about, and more.

Occam’s Razor. The simplest answer is usually the correct one. The devs placing a chest there and forgetting about it by accident is much more likely than the alternatives, and that is further backed up by similar things existing in tons of other games in the past. For example the Mew truck in Gen 1 Pokemon,

Yeah kind of that. I mean it sucks for them but unless there is an alternative that works for everyone (I don’t think multiple servers work as Arturo explained, as even if it did allow everyone to play together you would get server to server latency as well as client to server latency) then the devs have to go with

Neat but using modern effects like bloom really clashes with the retro style imo (I mean bloom, lens flare (outside of when it would make sense), and god rays all suck anyways but still). The lighting effect around the fires also looks super goofy because it clashes with the rest of the art style.

And gigantic buck teeth sticking out underneath

I have several times, all post 9/11. Never had that problem. And while I agree that a lot of their regulations are silly and some are pointless, the vast majority of people do not and never will experience what you did, even if they are frequent flyers.

The solution is you same day or next day mail it to yourself because sometimes weird novelty items you buy or make aren’t going to be able to fly.

The only game I have ever had a problem emulating for N64 was Paper Mario and that was because I could not find a good ROM back in the day (would crash if you used items). I’ve had no other problems emulating N64 in the 10ish years I have done it.

The face should be slightly lower. Yeah yeah, draw attention to the boobs not the stomach, I know. But Kirby’s face does not sit on a 45 degree angle it sits more like 15 degrees above looking straight ahead
