All I can remember about the professor was having her back door kitchen moment with a young student.  I knew then she was perfect for Noah.

And then there’s that part where her train is delayed because of flooding on the tracks, but the engineer says it won’t take long.  Um, I’d think that if the tracks were flooded, that’s gonna take some time.  It’s like they can’t figure out if they want to make this a climate change ravaged dystopia, or IKEA’s wet

I like how forgiving he is of the woman who trashed his daughter and barely mentions Tiffany at the end of all that praise for Madeline. I can’t imagine a worse fate than being Trump’s daughter.

I love that tweet. It’s 95% “I forgive Westerhout. She’s great. ” and 5%, “Oh yeah, blah blah Tiffany or whatever.”

The Carl personality change seems abrupt, but I guess this is a show that can handwave it away because of different character perspectives.

I find myself unable to distinguish between articles about the Trumps and Succession recaps anymore.

I have been pretty much hate-watching The Affair for the past couple of seasons...I get particularly frustrated, and then they have one excellent, outstanding episode, and I have to continue. I watch almost exclusively now for Maura Tierney and her breath-taking acting. Noah has been hideous almost from the start,

What a coincidence! I have a Nigerian girlfriend! Of course, I’ve never met her and her village doesn’t have Skype so I’ve never seen her or heard her voice, but she’s a lovely person, especially now that I have sent her $12k for her orthodontic work.

I wish there was a plot twist where we find out that Ruth Wilson faked her  character’s death just to get off the show

The Affair’s depiction of the future is the most laughable I think I’ve ever seen, both in it’s pessimism about climate change, as well as its optimism.  Windmills everywhere.  High speed trains!  Square toilets!

In true Showtime fashion, The Affair has gone on too long. It should’ve ended when Ruth Wilson’s character killed herself.

At last! Someone else noticed that Noah is a boorish bore! I have simply never understood his supposedly devastating appeal, he is awful. All the characters, female or male, are more interesting than he is, except Joel, Joel is more annoying than Noah. The Joanie storyline is not working for me, but I will give it a

Janelle is generally unpleasant. Not sure I’m interested in seeing her perspective. Though with that said, Noah has always been insufferable so they make a good couple.  I could watch hour long Helen episodes from here on out and be happy. We'll see about the Joanie storyline...

This show is still on? Last I watched Professor SexFrench was being disrespected by her husband’s academic peers in Paris.

Yeah, Joanie threw up the pills. That’s why she didn’t want her husband to hear the talking toilet.

Cool, I thought I was mixing up my shows!

Yes

Hold up, confused person here! Why do we think that Joanie is pregnant? Isn’t the scene with her puking just to show that she changed her mind about killing herself after taking all those pills last week?

I wish I could be happy about all of the extra Janelle storyline, but I just couldn’t care less about her. If the writers think they can just stuff her into that large hole in my heart left by Cole, they are sadly mistaken. I yelled “I don’t care” at the TV several times during her version. But I guess we’re stuck
