I cannot, absolutely can NOT, listen to Do You Really Want to Hurt Me without picturing Alexis singing it, and now that Alexis gone, it makes me extremely happy for that.

Alexis had very few actual spoken lines (maybe a couple words?), but isn’t that performance one of the most memorable from the Wedding Singer? Just singing the one song over and over and it’s funny every time, that’s so fucking hard to do and have work. That role always impressed me.

I kind of read the exact opposite from this statement. It feels like Alexis’s brother was being very careful in his use of language and was very respectful of Alexis’s preferences/wishes.

It’s obvious they took pains to be respectful. Accusing a family of misgendering from a single statement of grief is a little much.

He says whatever will work or feels right in the moment.

This just highlights the Solomon-like wisdom of suggesting that teachers bring firearms to school. Can you imagine the carnage of a slew of half-trained educators running the hallways with their 9mm’s shooting at anything that moves.

that a responding police officer was also injured when another officer’s gun accidentally discharged.

To those who would defend Trump with “what he meant to say,” I would remind them that according to Trump, he always says what he means.

Yes. Or the time on Cheers when Sam Malone rapped about groin injuries as the sports anchor on the local news.

Yeah, I don’t want to go up and down responding to everyone who is saying her look is distracting, and I do think the whole idea of this show is schticky and contrived, but Shortal’s look and style is no doubt encouraged by the station to reinforce that this ain’t your daddy’s nightly news show. If you find her look

Honestly, thats all anyone needs to know. If this were a suit and tie/skirt suit and blouse kind of show, I’d think, “That’s a weird outfit.” But if this is what she wears all the time then why the fuck single her out??

Shortal hosts a hipster version of the news, though. It's not the normal local news program, it's supposed to be a younger, untraditional show. She dresses like this for every episode.

He also inadvertently admitted he has no idea how sex with a willing partner’s vagina works, so there’s that.

So this dude turned a sexual assault into an opportunity to compliment hhimself on the size of his dick? Wow.

It is body shaming, but I guess because it’s Taylor Swift it’s okay, right, Jezzies?

Seriously. I don’t like her either, but this is ridiculous. It’s just coming across as incredibly petty and mean-spirited.

You clearly care, though. Otherwise, why would you be talking derisively about her boobs? Why would you even care if she’s sneakily diverting attention from this supposed boob job if you didn’t care about the boob job in the first place? Just stop.

Yeah, but it’s kind of body shaming, right? I just feel like the conversation is happening because she’s not liked.

I’m a teensy uncomfortable with all this speculating on surgery. So what if she did? I feel like sometimes that’s a form of body shaming, and it’s not something we’d tolerate happening to people we like, so even if we don’t like someone, it might be we shouldn’t tolerate it in people we don’t like.

Okay, first of all, real boobs can most certainly look like that, given the proper assistance from well-engineered undergarments. But more importantly, why the fuck are we supposed to care about whether Taylor Swift got fake boobs? It’s weird and creepy and deeply un-feminist to scrutinize people’s body parts like
