Meh. My reception is being held at a brewery. IDK if they allow kids or not, but it wouldn’t surprise me if the answer was no. I’m okay with that.

Wait. People actually INVITE kids to their wedding? I did all I could to make sure people DIDN’T bring their kids to tag along to mine.

I banned kids at my wedding, but that was a personal choice, not a venue requirement.

On the plus side, having your reception at one of these places is a perfect excuse to tell people why they can’t bring their insufferable brats with them.

My venue has a limit on 10 kids between the ages of 3-10. There is also a line in the contract that states if the staff have to “baby sit” for unruly children, they’ll charge us extra fees.
