hell in my state I don’t even need to get dressed to vote.
You’re charitable. I just think all of these “Obama was a bad president” people are just dumb fucking racists.
Yes. Demonstrably. Brought the country out of a deep recession. Brought long period of calm growth to the economy. Lowered unemployment. Conducted himself with dignity and statesmanship. Loved and respected his wife and daughters. Didn’t pay off any porn stars. Didn’t constantly tell absurd, preposterous lies. Didn’t…
Either way, I’m sure he’s not mentally fit to be a leader of a country.
“So they wouldn’t finish or even capture Rukh when they had the chance, but happily fried him in a generator. Cartoon ethics are fucking weird.”
Zeb can’t beat Rukh to death because that would be wrong, but tying Thrawn up with space whales and dropping him into hard vacuum is just and reasonable.
Or that episode with Sabine’s superweapon, which she made a big deal out of not using to take out a shipful of troopers; only to blow the ship up moments later.
Yeah, taking out Rukh would have definitely solved a lot of other problems (and, possibly, deaths-by-Rukh). It’s a weird moral quandary that I hardly remember any other Star Wars character having in the films, and it’s not the first time it’s come up, either.
My thoughts:
Pellaeon has represented the best combination of Imperial discipline and Republican candor in the EU. He’s the sort of competent commander that would garner the respect of a soldier like Captain Kannady and a statesman like Bail Organa. If Filoni’s new show does skip the Rebellion era (and I don’t buy that, honestly,…
Hope the Pellaeon shoutout wasn’t just a one-off, he could make a wonderful character to toss in to whatever post-EP6 show Filoni is clearly planning.
No answer on Ahsoka, but if you bothered reading the above review or, I dunno, *watching the show* you’d have noticed that Ezra was presumed dead during the events of the OT, because he was on a Star Destroyer thar got dragged into hyperspace by space whales.
I really hope Ahsoka shows up in Episode IX. (I know it’ll never happen, but still, a man can dream.) Either way, I pray they tell more of her story - she’s my favorite non-OT character.
The Ahsoka/Vader showdown at the end of season 2 is better than anything in Force Awakens or Last Jedi.
Right, but Ezra was doing some pretty crazy Force stuff, holding the ship together, which was presumably meant to be keeping him alive as well (with his implied survival). It’s possible that he included Thrawn in that as well, but I don’t know why he would.
Not to mention all the windows were busted out on that star destroyer
Agree with the A rating. A rating for the last 4 episodes for sure.
Pryce’s death scene was wonderfully done, first off. Second, oh my GOD the art-design on the Chimera was off the damn hook.
bud, sorry to break it to you, but heir to the empire and the entire EU have been dead for like 6 years. :(
It’s a good kids show in Seasons 1 and 2, then becomes a good show in Season 3.
