I will admit that Amos’ interaction with the guy in the club, warning him to watch out for the knife the guy eyeing him had hidden, gave me hope. I still don’t think the actor is right, but if he’s written well, that’ll go a long way.
Amos is growing on me. Last night he showed how socially handicapped he can be because of his past. His interactions with Naiomi brought me back to him. Socially naive but in specific ways. I think he will get better.
Miller’s floppy undercut is hilarious. There’s a sort of old man trying to hold onto his youth vibe about it which is a different kind of sadsack from the Miller in books but works for me in portraying Miller’s sadsackness.
