What Toyota didn’t do with BEV they did with Hydrogen fuel cells. 🍪

Remember when this very blog was taking shots at Toyota for their slow movement on BEVs?

I want this thing so bad. I have a super clean black on black P71 begging for this treatment...

There’d be a lot less surprise in that. Cops are all over musclecar-lookin’ rides like Marauders. Insurance companies charge you big time because those cars are theft bait too.

Publicly writing a letter stating your boss needs to keep his mouth shut, and getting your buddies to sign it, sounds like a great way to be unemployed. He signs your paycheck and you think Will Smith smacking him in public is going to turn out good for you? Then you sue because you lost your job, this is laugh out

I’m so outraged that people got fired for criticizing their boss. Never before in history has this happened. What ever happened to free speech allowing these folks to say whatever they want without consequences?

Breaking news: Talking shit about your CEO can and most likely will get you fired. Twitter and SpaceX employees should be smart enough to know this.

we have a propane Hot water on demand for our rads, but we installed mini splits heat pumps last year. We have been saving on propane costs without our electric bill going up significantly. 86 cents per litre on propane is no joke.

Exactly what I was thinking. Getting “clicks” and “views” is all that matters.

Because you had a prophecy that a decade later they would do something like this? Can I have upcoming lotto numbers?

The new gas model Highlander will be arriving at shipping ports this month and getting to dealers maybe mid-year, with a $10k markup. Hybrids set to arrive never.

I don’t see how they can say a customer is “stealing the car”. Every agency I’ve been to a different airports are all the same. You choose your car, and then exit to a checkpoint with usually spikes and a gate keep you from leaving until the attendant checks your docs, license, and vehicle.

I suspect this will be the case for towing-centric customers in general for a while. I needed a tow vehicle after deciding to start bringing my track car to further events, necessitating a trailer and a vehicle to pull it. I would have gladly bought an EV if not for the fact that I was buying the vehicle specifically

The ad says “says it’s the only panel version they’ve ever seen in the U.S.” This guy is so full of shit I can’t believe it. He’s in San Diego and there are a number of these running around San Diego county and have been for many years. You can pick up a decent one in Mexico for a couple of grand. The 1980 and newer

Should have taken the BAT bid. Price (offers) only goes down from here. I’d go $4-$5k tops.

Because that’s usually exactly what it is. It’s the same with the VW market. You can get Brazilian busses that are cheap and look great in pictures, but when you see it in person it’s a conglomeration of a hack job and poor body work. I wouldn’t trust anything out of brazil

Seems full BEV might be good for short haul, but a fuel cell would be better for long haul? Long haul can’t exactly stop every 3 hours to refuel...for 30+ minutes.

Worth noting that with 5 axles in the EU, you’re allowed 40 metric tonnes which works out to about 88,000 lbs.

Nissan has itself to thank for Maxima’s demise, with each generation what used to be a very decent looking sedan just kept leaning more and more into bizarre and hideous.

Nissan totally missed the boat here. Should have followed Chrysler/Dodge and made a Skyline Edition limited to 2000 units with a special paint color.
