Normally, I’d be 100% with you. I run my work Tahoe (SSV) on the beaches all summer with full street pressure. My last 4x4 was a 2004 WJ and same with that. I guess my question should have centered on the 4x4 system, rears and whether it had low range. 

Have you had the chance to run it through deep (sugar) sand yet ? I do like the GX, but am worried that the deep stuff on our beaches will bog it down...

There are plenty of Renegades in the summer, they only run into trouble when the sugary beach sand gets deep near this time of year. Just not enough power, clearance or a proper 4x4 system.
