I believe in fairness and understand businesses are complicated. I understand why people often don’t get fired amid calls to fire them for individual screwups. I understand stuff goes on behind the scenes in the forms of reprimands that we just never will hear about.

This indeed blew up so quickly over twitter it was kind of ridiculous. I almost feel sorry for the guy, but he definitely didn’t help himself when he started liking posts from people who criticized his attackers. Oh well, another day on the internet.

This sounds like yet another 4Chan/8Chan trolling episode. If there’s one thing those sites are worryingly good at it’s online trolling (and then a whole host of insanely toxic and illegal shit) that I’m surprised they’re still able to do this after how many years of this being a known issue.

That release statement literally says nothing about the actual situation. It would have somehow been just as good as not saying anything at all.

If anyone is willing to put in the time to create a video game, then more power to them, but I can’t for the life of me see why people would want to emulate pre-Doom FPS games. FPS Games like Wolfenstein 3D and Catacomb 3D do not hold up AT ALL in my opinion. Level design is important to me I guess.
