As a BMW i3 driver and an Odyssey owner, I say to BMW, "Give us this platform with e-drive and a range of 200+ miles, and I'm interested". Use the CFRP technology to make it lighter and give it a usable frunk.

I must admit, as a BMW fanboy, I find myself reaching for the i3 keys whenever I get the chance. Errand to run? I'm on it! "Kids, we're leaving! - reply - Can we take the electric car?"

One of the better i3 pics I've seen...

It's the BMW EVSE charger. (Visible by the bike wheel). When I leased the car, they sold me th $1200 charger for $600. I have a special rate plan to charge the car at night. BMW has an iPhone app that lets you set the times.

Yes, it's a design flaw, I'd argue. A better solution would have been to integrate the seatbelt into the seat, something BMW pioneered 20 years ago on the 8-series. But, that would've added significant weight.

I found that in town, the i3 was very spry and easily matched the pace of spirited driving with the 348 spider driven by my friend. Did a mini-review.
