In 1994 a neighbor in St. Paul had a steel blue 750iL. His dog, a giant St Bernard named Stonewall, had been pictured on the Milk-Bone box and did promotional work. They had a special platform made so Stonewall could ride in the back seat of the E38 and not fall into the footwell.

As a former i3 (BEV) driver, I’d be interested in the X2 as a PHEV. The wife has n X5 40e, and I think an X2 PHEV could be a great city car.

Tire width? 220, of course.

When I shopped leasing a BMW M3 vs. an Alfa QF, there was no comparison. The lease residuals for the Alfa were so poor compared to the inflated BMWFS residuals, the decision was effectively made for me. I’m very happy in an F80 M3 competition pack w/ performance exhaust, but as a former ‘86 Alfa Romeo Milano (75)

Q Division was decades ahead with the E38

Rural England, 1950's: Young Queen Elizabeth and the Queen Mum were being chauffeured through the countryside when masked robbers stopped the car and demand their valuables. Their Royal Highnesses were deprived of their jewelry and left standing on the side of the road as the robbers even stole the car. As they stood

Maybe it’s time for a new saying:

Oh, it’s definitely crapping a Porsche 928. (but I still enjoy driving one each day)

Maybe the bikers didn't see the warning decal.

I had given the Playmobil Z4 a few years ago, but the Porsche is far superior.

I’m grateful to jalopnik for posting this link, as I never would’ve known about this set. Gave it tonight to our godson and it was a huge hit.

Maybe sporting the front “Zoll <customs>“ plate isn’t cool, but I loved it because European Delivery was one of the highlights of the decade for me. I’ve sold the the touring, but I still have the plate in my garage.

We’re driving a PHEV X5 and a BEV i3, but also have an Odyssey for kid pick-up duties when we’re at work. I’d be thrilled to have a PHEV Odyssey option. After driving the X5 for small trips and charging it frequently, it’s been easy to adjust to the drive-charge-drive pattern.

I can get 20 mi on a charge driving very gingerly. However, I rarely drive it in electric-only, since it defaults to the electric-only/electric+gas mode. Thus, I wind up getting excellent mpg.
