actually playing through SMTIV right now! I’ve had it since launch but my backlog...y’know how it is. I honestly think I prefer it to the Persona games (although I haven’t played 4 yet). I kinda just like the demon killing stuff without the social high school stuff.

I love SMT’s art! I just wished they used 3D models for the combat gameplay in SMT4. Etrian Odyssey looks great ever since they switched to 3D models in EO4.

This is actually worth mentioning, granted they’re stellar, or were stellar at acquiring talent and letting them develop, it’s not like there’s a core group of developers in Valve that have been putting things out since the beginning.

I would say that everyone at Valve is a gamer. We love games, and there’s no reason we wouldn’t want to make games.

They’re just waiting for some indie dev to come up with a cool idea that they can buy out. After all Valve’s only original games have been Half Life and Ricochet.

I am waiting for the horror stories of people falling asleep with it on and waking up to something unexpected. Like your character falling or a scene from a movie making you physically react.

seeing as how ive used the dk2 for a while and never felt these symptoms, ill just assume its a “some people have it, some dont” kind of thing. i hope they improve on what is making others sick. i imagine its not something that happens while playing and is actually the shock of going from vr to taking the headset off…
