Renault has made a right mess of it. The lesser models without 4WS drive much better. It’ll only make a comeback if there’s a real use for it, now it feels more like an expensive gimmick.
“If I am a paying customer, with cash in hand or even the POTENTIAL of having cash in hand (which this guy apparently did) then you, as a sales entity do everything in your power to get me to give you said cash”
I’m afraid it doesn’t work that way. I just tried charging my phone via gravity from a second story window and now the screen is shattered.
Apparently neither Paul nor Doug have had the rubber part of a wiper blade torn off due to being frozen to the windshield.
I really really want the camless stuff.
Pretty awesome. Too bad their heli guy didn’t get to show off.

WELL, IT’S REALLY AN AEROFOIL
Fatigue life would be the limiting strength factor for long-term reliability and it’s probably exactly what Ford was talking about when they made the quote. BCC Steels like those that are used in the drive train have an infinite fatigue strength where no matter how many times you cycle it, the strength will not fall…
I think that you have this wrong. When it comes down to performance at low temperature, the compound actually matters more than tread pattern- even in the dry. A winter tire at zero degrees F will grip better in dry pavement than an all-season at that same temperature.
Engineer: Excuse me sir, but did you say more buttons?
Everyone knows you should never disturb a Mitsubishi cocoon... How dare they do this before it could undergo its final Evolution
Meo has been very impressive; even if he is an enduro legend, he is still a Dakar rookie. And he did win a stage, the one before the rest day. Same goes for the Despres in the car; he has really shown his talent in the dunes over the last two days. Svitko too; he has been very consistent over the years, but this year,…
Incredibly unpredictable race this year. I was thinking that it was going to be slightly anticlimactic with no Chilean or Peruvian stages, and that early Peugeot dominance but damn! 3 days to go and still, anything can happen, although, several important competitors fell out yesterday.
Unfortunately, he was just handed a 50 min penalty for stopping longer than allowed on the stage 9. The entire Honda team just can’t find any luck at Dakar. And while it sucks that KTM is going to win for a millionth time in a row, I’m happy for the Price as he has established himself as one of the top riders in the…
Originally, they weren’t in the race. But they were racing anyway, so they decided to make a class for them.
I believe that the big trucks were originally only in the race as chase vehicles for the teams. Loaded to the max with spares.
One way to get people to start using snow tires, is to stop calling them snow tires. They are actually winter tires, something something about the rubber compound not hardening in temperatures under 40*F like typical summr/all-seasons.
