It's awesome when we do something cool. I'm kinda surprised at how many ROC folks are on here, like I've been imaging I'm the only one here with internets or something? IDK.

It's the David Bowie Birthday Bash, happens every year. And TONS of people dress up like him it is so fantastic. :D

ROCHESTER REPRESENT!!! This is one of our town's greatest honors, and we celebrate every year on his birthday with a huge music fest/concert.

WOW. I am having a really similar debate right now and would love feedback. I have been asked to be part of a "Women in Science" webpage but I don't identify as a female scientist, I AM A SCIENTIST whose vagina is irrelevant to her work. By doing this, am I somehow hurting the younger women who are coming up? Thoughts?

Can I ask you something? The previous owner of my car (2002 Jetta with 1.8L turbo) said he always used premium, "because of the turbo". I'd never owned a car with a turbo before, so I've just been doing it. Would you call bullshit?
