Sounds like Atlas Shrugs Reardon Metal which does not require any magic but is still unreproducible.

Finally Hunting Season has been approved?
Since Mars will never be habitable the best we can use it for is as a place to mine minerals
Good article. Continuity is critical at the moment. Sure if I have $25 sitting around I might be interested; art looks good. But I can buy 5 or more ongoings for this price.
Back in college (late 80s) I was introduced to The Horseclans, a post-apocalyptic return to an iron age level of civilization mixed with some science fiction tropes including immortal mutants that loosely rule the anarchic society that has been established in the altered geography of North America and a little bit of…
His costume is a work in progress! Can't wait for one week to pass
The Postman covered my sentiment yesterday in relation to DC movies .. I can't get excited about this Deadpool movie. Maybe this is good because I can go and be pleasantly surprised by how great it was (will be). Same with X-Men:Apocalypse. I think the X-Men Days of Future Past was just OK and really don't think it…
Better late than never but great list Evan. Thanks for putting it together
You should check out his Thor:God of Thunder work and he did some work on Amazing Spider-Man in the Spider-Verse arc.
Walking Dead: LA - like the forensic cop shows
Didn't io9 just share a Kim Stanley Robinson in which he bemoaned the fact Mars not only has temperature extremes and an unbreathable atmosphere but that the perchlorates are toxic to humans? How are airlocks supposed to keep 100% of soil and dust out of habitats. Are they supposed to be hermetically sealed?
It's kind of a sad statement that "(w)hat makes Star Wars great isn't the movies". You made me feel really bad for Star Wars fans
I went to college with Scott Kelly
I agree we might see Peter mentor Miles but I think I read from Slott that being a husband and father will change his perspective some. I think this might mean he becomes more hard hitting; not to the point of becoming brutal but he will likely use his intellect and full strength to put villains down. You don't let…
I wonder about this too. Seems Bendis won't get a chance to follow this up unless the new combined universe will have multiples of the same person. It seems a lot of the Ultimate versions were younger versions so I assumed the 616 Miles would be around 616 Peter's age of mid to late 20s.
So I wonder post-Secret Wars that the Hickman BIGGER Avengers will be done with and the new arc will be one small team. Looking forward to Secret Wars just being over. Surely the last incursion could have just merged into a new universe and we'd be spared all this limited time arcs that will fill the shelves this…
I wonder how many people will be pissed off by you calling it the normal universe
Did you see the green adversary's shadow? The skull seems to have some headgear. Could be ears I suppose depending upon the angle of the Sun behind him the artist was assuming
Good call, Miles will be dealing with a different man being Cap and probably dealing with a different Steve Rogers being operational leader. His Tony Stark Iron Man will be a different person, Thor's hammer is distinctively different so we should get some interesting Miles eye view of the change in status quo.
Opinions differ but I loved how Spider-Man took Hawkeye's old bravado one better and used humor to take the seriousness around him down a notch. Without guys like Spider-Man the Avengers becomes a paramilitary unit and might as well be chartered to SHIELD
