The only thing that matters to me is that I can enjoy Miles and not have to have Peter Parker killed to make room they way Bendis did in the Ultimate Comics. There is a clearly a market for both characters as well as an overlapping market for those that like both. Marvel has come a long way between Spider-Verse and

I’m not so certain that the Ultimate Universe Peter Parker is dead. In the last arc of Miles’ Ultimate Spider-Man book, Peter Parker had returned. Speculation was that he was a clone but Peter claimed that he had healed from the apparently mortal wounds suffered fighting the Green Goblin as a consequence of the

I am looking forward to the exploration of this eighth incarnation of the universe. This history of Galen reminded us that he was the only survivor of the 6th but now we have that same survivor of the 6th and most of the 7th existing in the 8th incarnation of the universe/multiverse. This kind of short cut is going to

During Cataclysm, the Maker met Valeria and it seemed to shake him with the understanding that he had made some bad choices. That seems to have been forgotten now.

SPOILER ALERT

Well it was a good article other than describing Miller’s dystopian US government as Randian. It’s evident to anyone familiar with Rand the author doesn’t understand her’s philosophy and engaged in a bigoted comment.

Was Tony Stark born on Vulcan too?

Seems like Marvel is becoming a big tent which begs the question what will they be good at if anything. I’m a bit concerned that my love of Marvel superheroes is at risk.

Well it’s just good writing not to idealize all your super powered beings working generally for the greater good. It makes much more sense that your super intelligent people would feel empowered to proceed unilaterally.

Jane Foster will die when the one true Mjolnir says so

He should not have said anything

With wrists that good he should be playing baseball

It was a really good tease and misdirection and a very satisfying reveal.

I disagree with this. Val Kilmer was a good Bruce Wayne and Batman. We have to lay blame for costume and set choice firmly where it belongs with Joel Schumaker. Moreover, George Clooney was barely present in either role as Batman or Bruce Wayne.

You know those decisions aren’t Marvel’s?

Too bad Emily Blunt is white and will just reinforce part of this rant

It’s being said elsewhere but it bears repeating. If you compare Steve Rogers of the MCU and Clark Kent of the DCCU, Steve was an underdog that volunteered to fight evil and submit to a dangerous experiment so that he could do more than his size and health allowed. He got into it to help others and he had who knows

Better late than never but great list Evan. Thanks for putting it together

You should check out his Thor:God of Thunder work and he did some work on Amazing Spider-Man in the Spider-Verse arc.

Just read Postal Apocalypse and the idea that Dan Slott convinced Joe Quesada that Spider-Man should be married and now there was Mile Morales' Spider-Man who could be the accessible high school student Joe's little internal comic reader could enjoy without ruining Peter Parker's growth.
