…her water broke. She begged to be taken to the hospital but was told to “sleep it off” and wait until Monday (two days later) to give birth.
It has also been straight-up described by Blackburn as a way to control LGBT and, specifically, trans information on the internet.
And Elizabeth Warren signed on as a co-sponsor. It’s patently obvious that Dems are being fleeced by KOSA but no one seems to want to be willing to go out on a limb and admit it because…
I agree that iSrael has contributed to the cycle of violence, but iSrael isn’t targeting civilians
Israel is indiscriminately carpet bombing the heavily populated Gaza Strip where there is no bomb shelters. Israeli officials have made comments that indicate they intend to commit war crimes, made dehumanizing comments (typical of them), and are continuing their ongoing theft of Palestinian land and ethnic cleansing…
We can both condemn Israel’s historical treatment of Palestinians, while denouncing the terrorism and violence that Hamas committed against innocents, including what they have done to some of their own people. The situation all around is heartbreaking.
Side note: Anyone else thinking this is all connected to Russia?…
It is possible to both condemn Hamas for the attack, and to condemn Israel for its ongoing abuses of the Palestinian people.
These kind of gaslighting and disinformation tactics only work on issues where voters are poorly informed and haven’t solidified their opinions. The problem for the right wing here is that it would be difficult to find an issue on which voter opinion is more hardened than abortion. The number of people who might be…
Also true for cancer treatment (including life-saving cancer treatment), surgery, etc. My daughter had a kidney stone when she was 11. It was finally decided to go in after it after waiting six weeks for it to pass; by that time, she hit her birthday. Rules said that since she was now 12, she had to have a pregnancy…

“Are hospitals going to require someone to share a pregnancy test, proof they’re on birth control, get a hysterectomy, to get life-saving health care?”
A nightmare straight of out of “The Handmaid’s Tale”. If we don't get people in Congress willing to be as dirty as Republicans, they'll not only deny routine healthcare and pain management, they'll take away women's right to a bank account, and then the right to a job. It's not fiction anymore.
No I had kids with my wife. She’s under good care from great doctors and she isn’t planning on dying any time soon. If you live life worrying about tomorrow you wouldn’t really live.
Ben Franklin wrote a “how to” pamphlet on abortion for F7ck sake.
Just part of the problem. It’s capitalism and money at all costs.
Thanks to Republicans
The fact that the term he used for her potential mate was, “steady partner” (as in the phrase “going steady”, which fell out of fashion in the 1960s), should tell you all you need to know about where (or more to the point when) this doctor is, as a person...
The US has gone mad.
Let’s start denying medication and treatment to men in case it affects their sperm?
Keanu was in a production of “Much Ado About Nothing” back in 1993.
