The way that EVE is set up, it sounds like it exists specifically FOR trolling, if trolling is defined as taking enjoyment out of blowing up someone else’s valuables for the pleasure of seeing it burn.

To be fair, I still get a bit jittery every time I have to “chunk” a CPU into its final socket position with that little lever. There’s always more resistance to the final click than I find comfortable. :)
The rest is indeed quite straightforward these days and most things only fit in one spot or type of slot.

Don’t try and A-rate your whole ship. It only works on a couple ships, and even then you might go over when you power up your weapons. Look at module priority.

There’s a solo mode, where you don’t encounter other players, but you get the same economic simulation parameters: If a system is depleted of certain trade goods in the open game, it will be in the solo version too.

Personally, while I liked the squad intro bit, I didn’t exactly like that they spoiled the appearance and name of the big bad already. :/

The current game is quite limited in scope, if you get the game mechanics going your way you’ll have seen all you can develop yourself in an hour or two. It’s Early Access, but the developer calls it pre-Alpha. Now, given how generally bug-free the game feels and how nice it looks, I wouldn’t go that far. But right…

An upcoming Nintendo Direct focused on 3DS games will take place this Thursday, September 1st at 10AM Eastern Time. Nintendo’s press release notes that “NX will not be discussed or revealed in this broadcast.”

And, one of the game dev shared on twitter around E3 that there are normal animals in the game. As you say you need for fur and all that, so you have the oppertunity to hunt animals, get fur and hides, and use it for trading and food. As far as i know :)

Ryan loved to post pictured of his terrain setup and miniatures when I was part of the Mierce Miniatures forums during their kickstarters.
Almost all of this stuff is done by professional terrain artists and miniature painters.
The end result is astounding, but also worth a fortune.
