I honestly wouldn’t count on a peaceful transfer of power this time around. Trump will literally refuse to recognize the election result if he isn’t the winner. His ego won’t let him come out as the loser, that’s what makes him a malignant narcissist. 

Why not? The event has been open to the public for a few years already. It’s really expensive to go there ($250 per ticket or something), but it’s a public event, and if the kid has a ticket he can get in.
