But Star Trek isn’t here to be realistic. It’s here to show us a future that a morally good humanity would create, not the depraved mess of a species we are today.

Last time I checked Finn manages to ignite a saber in The Force Awakens, giving a rather unsubtle hint that he’s at least Force sensitive.

Rey will probably become a Grey Jedi, neutral, not good, but that’s still very different from a Sith.

You appear to be missing the mention of micro-transactions in the game, a full price title I might add, for loot boxes.
Did you manage to “complete” the game and how did the final “act” of the game feel without the loot-box only Legendary orcs that are apparently needed to not make it a complete grind-fest?

Shotguns and dedicated hunting rifles would be relatively easy in the EU (still with a thorough background check), but definitely not Assault Rifles.

Well, EVE Valkyrie is now available without VR, and it’s the small ship shooty game you’re describing, but I don’t know how it holds up long term, as I haven’t played it.

If there’s actually Section 31 personnel on board, I think you can count on an Omega Molecule episode, when was the original Omega Incident again? The one that spawned the Omega Protocol as used in Voyager?

I’ve played just shy of 30 hours so far, and I’m having a blast. What I will say is that some of the quest triggers are a little buggy sometimes, and may require multiple attempts to trigger properly (I left a LOT of unfinished quest in the game’s first area despite fulfilling most of their objectives, it just refused

No ethnic cleansing for one. Attempted ethnic cleansing, yes, but they’re not killing them in huge numbers so far, but yes it’s definitely heading in the wrong direction for America.

Not yet, but it’s certainly heading in that direction.

If you’re near Orlando (and have a Disney World annual pass), the store at Japan in EPCOT stocks a surprisingly extensive collection of them.

Endgame makes sense, super-powered voyager blowing apart cubes left and right, old Janeway suiciding on the borg queen, that Ablative Shielding sequence...
Voyager as a series wasn’t always great, but this is a great Star Trek power fantasy episode.

I’ll certainly give you that. I’m 6'6", so most hotel showers are too low for me. But I imagine that these lower showers are more of a thing in southern Europe than in countries with taller average populations like the Netherlands, Germany and Scandinavia.

It also makes sense in canon. Batman is the real person here, Bruce Wayne is the secret identity, unlike most other superheroes. He refers to himself as Batman in his own dreams, never as Bruce. so doing the voice-work in that context is just perfect.

none of which will happen, because politics. They protect their own.

Thee upside being that they cost a fair bit less than their US counterparts, and you really don’t need much of a hotel room if you’re only there to sleep / bathe.

It is fairly safe to assume that especially house-keeping is paid minimum wage, which in most states is not something you’d consider a living wage. Unlike in Europe where the minimum wage is specifically indexed to ensure that it is.

Keep in mind that in the Western world, this is a problem that’s fairly exclusive to the USA, staff in Europe are paid a living wage. If you tip in the EU it’s a courtesy for a job well done, rather than a necessity for the staff to have a half-decent wage.

Thankfully, for those of us not in the USA, we get to stream Discovery through Netflix, which plenty of people have, and are more than willing to pay for. It’ll find it’s audience abroad if CBS messes up too badly with their streaming service.
