Interesting article, however, "imaginary extra layer of protection"? Even in non-snowy parts of the country AWD is a very good thing, and definitely not imaginary.

I'm also no expert, but if you miss the curbs and stay on piste this won't happen.

I'm not sure I'm buying this story. But if it's real, then I'm not buying. I'm here to proclaim my WRX/STI wagon (or hatch) love! And if I would change my mind and get a sedan, it wouldn't be a suba... wait, it's still AWD? If for some reason they drop the AWD then there's 100% no way I'd get a STI sedan instead of a

The VIN swap was a little red flag. Had the VIN not been manipulated, who's to say they were planning on driving this on public roads? Regardless this really irks me.

How is this any better than World of Outlaws on the same track? Sprints deserve the coverage, not silly nascar trucks.

As always, it's the victim's fault; cyclists, pedestrians and girls wearing tiny skirts.

Philosophical? Thems just the facts, ma'am. It's simple math, and a lot of Prius owners (sorry for picking on them) forget the real bottom line.

Never "brake check" in front of another vehicle unless you are OK with getting hit.

"TAXI!"

When I used to ski race, walking the course backwards really helped your understanding of the course forwards.
