I’m not saying ‘don’t criticize him’. Feel free. But you were pointing out he left due to social media’s effects on his health; now that he’s more active after his health improved, that’s somehow a bad thing?

So, should he, as a commentator (of sorts) on gaming in various terms, simply NOT comment on something that could be seen as kind of unethical business because he had more important things to deal with prior to this? I’m not sure I see the problem, regardless of any personal opinions you or I have about TB.

From the footage I’ve watched from the Outside Xbox/Outside Xtra channels, I don’t notice any floating forward like you describe. Maybe check some of their footage to take a look (they’ve got half an hour of footage across their two channels).

Based on all the footage I’ve seen, the puzzles seem based on environmental clues and available abilities. Just like old Banjo games, you had to piece certain things together yourself. I honestly fail to see an issue with that.

Or at least at the same time as reviewers. Might be getting better publicity if they did that.

Hmm, interesting! I’m honestly more familiar with the likes of Smash Bros. tournaments, so the style of fighting I’m used to seeing is vastly different than most more “traditional” fighters.

Maybe this is just me (since I’m completely uninitiated with fighting game communities, for the most part), but that dribbling technique comes across like a player who spams jump-kicks or uppercuts or hadoukens to whittle away health to gain an edge. I see the reasoning, but it feels... cheap, to me, I suppose?

For what it’s worth, it seems like the Normal Boots crew is mostly annoyed that the last Gizmodo article about this same topic drew a lot of attention their way. I personally love the designer (Bolson, is his name). He’s most certainly a feminine dandy of a character, but the guy is so confident in his work and his actions that I couldn’t have cared less if he was super macho or super, well, not. He’s just a good-natured character with a pleasant personality.
