First, I do live in a major city. I just happen to live in a neighborhood that has a small number of Stops that are all somewhat distant from each other. Even my girlfriend that lives right downtown can only see things that are further from her (there’s now multiple directions from her apartment, which normally spawn

Problem is, most people (if not all) are ONLY seeing things on Nearby that are associated with a nearby Pokestop. Triangulation would only work with the non-Stop-’mons; since everything showing up is now Nearby, and not Sightings, triangulation won’t really be all that useful.

“Pokemon Go’s ‘Nearby’ Feature Is Now Actually Useful”...

If it’s a couple small things here and there, then yeah, I’d agree with you that it’s probably better to go with the flow. There are just some times it can’t continue that way. With Halfbrick, it sounds like it became suffocating, creatively stifling even. I can completely understand wanting to leave a situation like

I think that /strongly/ depends on the work environment, and the history of disagreements. For myself, I have a seasonal job that’s short enough where I don’t need to stress too hard over decisions I don’t agree with. I might think the options are ridiculous, and a good number of times, they are. But we do our work,

“That, and it was always meant to be a game played while walking...”

Criken has always been two things: insane and ridiculous in multiplayer games, and oddly proficient with his vocabulary when he addresses a crowd face-to-face. I can also imagine he’s sticking to that phrasing as its what he’s been informed to say to cover his bases. Now he doesn’t have to say anything further on the

Tried adding this to my original comment, but it wouldn’t let me. Also worth noting are these tidbits:

Considering this is an article about Sonic, I’m primarily referring to their Sonic-related communities (their Sonic Twitter and Facebook accounts stand out in that regard). My statement is hardly inaccurate, considering the relatively quick comments they made after that one big 3D Sonic fan game/level came out.

“Or, failing that, it’d at least be nice if Valve or Sega explained what exactly is going on.”

I feel like somebody did, though, and I feel like I’ve already read that article. Can’t for the life of me remember where, though.

It’s also worth noting that this is only available in the US, so the market, while large, is still restricted. I know a ton of people in my city here in Canada that would buy these, but the import cost would just be too much to get all of those. So already there are those of us you can’t get them without it costing

I think I’ve been lucky to back mostly high-profile stuff that gets a product, or a piece of product, out for the public to consume. Still waiting on most of my physical goods, but some of this stuff is being worked on pretty consistently, so I’m alright to be patient for that. Just wish physical copies of games like

Heh, no party hat, sadly. Mostly a bunch of small knick-knacks, hence why the price isn’t too much more than the regular edition. Mostly grabbed it for the collectors’ box and soundtrack.

I’m sorry, $400+ for a physical copy of the game, all because it’s puzzlingly bundled in the statue-filled reward tier? If they had physical copies as an add-on, so I could snag a lower tier (like the Explorer Edition) but still get the physical copy, I’d be placing my cash down. Until that happens, I think I’ll wait

That’s a good point, though, considering they sell NTSC copies of things (apparently!), maybe they keep track of that kind of demand as well? I’ll be watching over the site as is, just to see what comes up next.

I guess I need to pay more attention to them! Missed out on Gal-Gun too, more by choice (as I was on-the-fence about their shipping costs, and the contents of the exclusive version were... interesting. =P). But they seem to have some cool stuff, all kinds of regional versions too, so I’ll keep them in my thoughts for

This is already my favorite rhythm game ever, and I’ve played probably way too many. The music is different, unique, and somehow memorable. The visuals are just astounding. And considering I paid for the vinyl soundtrack to get the game, I still feel like I’m getting m moneys’ worth (played 4 hours, not even done the

The more I read, the more I’m disappointed I missed the Liberator’s Edition of Bhikkhuni. Might pick up the regular version anyways, to go along with my Party Bag Edition of Criminal Girls 2.

Are you talking about the Liberator’s Edition? Was it available as an NTSC version (I believe I saw some PAL versions from a UK site)? Pretty sad I missed out on it. =/
