I’m not straying from criticism; I’m simply pointing out your apparent inability to understand that people will read a lot into text, despite your belief that tone cannot be deduced through said text (as you made clear in a reply to another user). Honestly, feel free to criticize what people say; I’m only saying you

If all you’re here to do is argue semantics and act like a crazed fanboy, that’s on you. I’ve stated my opinion (read again: opinion) on the matter. If you take issue with how it was phrased, feel free to let me know in a way that doesn’t come across like you’re attacking me for no reason.

That’s assuming that we’ve seen that statement from Nintendo before. I hadn’t seen that before, from what I can recall, so it’s disappointing to see something so simple and, speaking honestly, pointless for the majority of people.

*SPOILERS*

I assume that cringe-worthy moment comes during a one on one with our AI overlord? That was... an amazing moment. But, after playing it, you’re right. I feel like it was definitely still, as is Borderlands fashion, mostly humorous and lighthearted. And that ending before the very final scene was both touching and

/Another/ dark and emotional finale? Oh come on I’m still finishing up Life is Strange, I can’t take this much emotion!

See, to me, this all means that something is different with 4 that Scott deliberately made more difficult to piece together. He’s left so many bread crumbs, but so few ways to find them all, that it’s no wonder people aren’t figuring it all out.

You hadn’t heard of the Completionist before now? That’s actually almost impressive. Check his stuff out, it’s pretty entertaining!

Didn’t know Pewds was playing Until Dawn. But if Mark’s videos are any indication of how many searches/how popular the game is, that (to me) isn’t saying a ton. His first few vids got over a million views pretty quickly, but the last few episodes are taking their time. Same thing with the videos from Cryaotic (just on

I thought the only reason that the Black Monolith mystery hadn’t been solved, was because there was no more new data that anyone found in the games code? Wasn’t that just kind of... it? Not to mention, a brute forced code was found (I believe?) that “solved” the monolith’s puzzle, but it’s the puzzle itself that

For what it’s worth, Game Theory/MatPat has yet to release (to my knowledge) the story related episode for FNAF4. So maybe Mat will make things clearer? From what I’ve seen, the majority of FNAF4 is a bloody mess story-wise. There’s so much that doesn’t make sense, mostly because of the lack of remotely surprising

Very true! Though I wonder exactly how powerful his influence will be by the final Tales from the Borderlands episode. We certainly see some advances to his potential this episode, but unless he deliberately acts like a derp, he doesn’t seem to be totally in control (given the way Rhys acts throughout the storytelling

Let’s also not forget Bloodwing. Q_Q

If I’m not mistaken, they’re doing what they do with The Walking Dead, and involving Gearbox with all of the major story points (though, honestly, this is the only huge one so far; the second biggest being the explanation for how Athena was captured at the beginning of The Pre-Sequel).

To a point, yes. You’re essentially a god-like powerhouse, but you’re always fighting other god-like powerhouses. If you get damaged enough (through the course of the story), you won’t always be unstoppable.

As I said originally, I do see your point. And for the most part, I agree with you. I guess I just personally don’t mind the non-interactive portions that gaming offers as well.

Re: overpowered powers: Say that to Asura’s Wrath, where the powers are essentially limitless and the insanity is an absolute blast to experience. =P

I understand your preference here, but saying they’re doing it wrong because it doesn’t fit your preference is kind of silly. Yes, games can tell great stories through gameplay alone, but not all games NEED to tell stories through gameplay alone. If games with stories told through expansive cutscenes aren’t your

But is it fun? Maybe it’s not super original in its execution, but if the game ends up being fun to play, then why would I care if it’s not the greatest thing ever? I just want more Remedy storytelling, as silly as the writing can be sometimes. I loved Max Payne, I loved Alan Wake, and I’m sure I’ll love Quantum Break.

Has anyone else had any issues simply starting up the game? I keep getting this “Entry Point Not Found” error, and I have no idea how to think about starting to fix it. =/
