The puzzles aren't as aggravating in Dreamfall. They're still there, but certainly much more understandable. The combat is pretty rough, and there's a little bit of backtracking here and there, but it's all driven very well by the story and dialogue. If you loved the story from the original at all, then you should

It's not like other people will find this interesting or anything... clearly everyone ever has the same interests as you.

Like others have said, I suppose it would depend on your personal take on what's considered violent. It'd be a lot of effort to really determine if it was remotely close to true... have to take into consideration all multi-regional releases, region-exclusive releases, different console generations, the publishers and

Do you deliberately try to stir up some kind of commotion on as many articles as you possibly can? Just sayin', the only time I ever see you comment is to make some ridiculous generalization about other peoples' opinions or to incorrectly state facts about something you don't have all the facts for.

I would say so if the game wasn't a prequel to the show. And it looks like Daryl is still going to be a part of each episode or two, so there's not much they could do with the game in that regard anyways.

I certainly hope not. The Ben from the Telltale games was a wuss, but a kind hearted one who always wanted what was best for everyone. The Ben we saw in this new TV episode was a forgetful prick who didn't seem to have anything against stealing from or attacking women and children, or at least wouldn't say anything

I think a lot of it has to do with the misconception that a lot of these companies or individuals should be able to fund the products themselves. As much as I'd love for publishers to just pick up a game because fans want it, that's just not how it works, and people like Ragnar know if he wants to get the next game

It's the last game of the Dreamfall series. Not necessarily the entirety of The Longest Journey, however. Chapters was always meant to conclude Zoe Castillo's story, but not the whole story. Chances are we'll get a little more info on the old woman and April's fate from Dreamfall that will lead further into the next

I wish you the best of luck on the Kickstarter campaign, Ragnar! (From the looks of things, luck won't be necessary... already about 23% of the way there!) Been a fan for a long time, and I've been going back and looking over the stories from the previous games for years, so I can't wait to see what happens with the

Fair enough. I know that a lot of people won't enjoy it for the sheer fact that there really is very little to the game. And some people obviously also won't feel as impressed with it as others in regards to the score or the emotion/relaxation aspects. But at least you gave it a try, and aren't horribly complaining

Then why would Priestly or Roy feel compelled to make a statement on the matter? If nothing's been decided, or even if something HAD been decided, why go on record saying absolutely anything about the potential evolution of the next Mass Effect game? And honestly, they created a trilogy of games that were so closely

Ahh, I love living in Canada. I've had the game for a week already. Go early street-date-breaking releases that were condoned and confirmed by Nintendo and game store management. XD

Both Journey and Flower had a narrative-driven story without the need for words. There was a very clear beginning, middle, and end, with a story that was told completely. Those were both very much games, with small challenges and things to accomplish.

Look up TotalBiscuit's WTF Is... on Antichamber on YouTube. It shows fairly well just how the game is meant to mess with a gamers' predetermined notions of how games work.

Because this wasn't the game announcement article. Kotaku already covered the trailer and initial announcement, and if people want to watch it, I'm sure they can search for it easily enough themselves.

I don't think I can recall running across any anime that's primarily known by its Japanese name that had an English name which sounded proper. They almost always sound at least a little off, for one reason or another.

0_o What the fuck happened to your figure? Mine looked fine... aside from the tip of the gun being broken off. >.>

I was more referring to Killer7. No More Heroes was clearly a success, hence the sequel and PS3 re-release. Killer7, on the other hand, just didn't get the same attention or sales figures.

When it comes to many anime, many shows don't have a whole lot happening on-screen when there's any dialogue being spoken. And if they are moving, if you're a quick reader and used to subtitles, you can easily move between reading the text, looking back at the image, and still getting all of the motions and emotions

Seems like it. I think Grasshoppers' usual publishers probably noticed the similarities to Killer7 and No More Heroes (which were either not successful at all, sadly, or had a much more limited audience during the initial release), so it may have been more of a challenge to find a publisher who wanted to take the
