BG3.  I’ve got 45 hours in this game and I just can’t get into it.  The role playing aspect is great fun but it’s just so RNG heavy in a very unfun way.  A lot of people say “lean into your failures, it makes the game more fun”.  However my failures tends to be every character can’t roll above a 3 in combat for 2

Then why not call it Infestation: 1988? Or use the ‘ in front of the 88 as is the literary norm when shortening a year to its last two numbers? I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, people like this don’t use dog whistles, they use bull horns.

Didn’t they basically come out and say this 7 years ago? Something to the effect of GTAO made so much money we felt no need to create single player DLC?

“Millions of people” I believe is just a tad hyperbolic.  Thousands, sure.  But not millions.  Not this far removed from the release window.

As a long time player of these kinds of games, I find his trust of pathfinding to be suspect as well.  If you don’t babysit your characters you’ll find yourself in combat with half your party going the literal opposite direction of where you need them to go.  Even in BG 3.

Tell you what Kenneth, Shadowheart will drop her so called “prejudice” against the Githyanki, just as soon as the Githyanki drop that whole pesky “we’re the Master Race” thing.

This seems a bit what 1313 was going to be until Lucas ordered the story to be about Boba Fett.  At that point I lost all interest in the game, but Outlaws is starting to pique my interest.

Now playing

It’s not legal for you to set LETHAL boobytraps.

No.  You cannot sue someone for damages suffered while breaking the law yourself.

Not only illegally subletting her grandma’s apartment, but an apartment that is rent controlled.  It’s probably INCREDIBLY cheap, even for the 90's.

I like the character of Kang, but I never liked Majors in the role.  I for the life of me cannot understand why others did.

They took care of everyone.......eventually.  Before then they spent several years split between denying it was even a thing, and trying to say it was user error the fault kept happening.  It wasn’t until an expose was released that showed the shortcuts Microsoft took with production of the 360.  So yeah they got

No, it wasn’t “ahead of it’s time”. You can bend over backwards all you want trying to explain how their next console was ackshually the bestest idea evar!1 It doesn’t change the fact that Microsoft wasn’t interested in pushing games technology into the next level. The intent still is and always was to make a DRM

Many people thought SM2 deserved to win.  Granted those people were always deluding themselves, but they do exist.

It’s because people were mass reporting all the channels triggering the auto mod to ban the streams.

It’s because Twitch has told them they can’t.  You know how entitled people like to get once they get told they can’t do something.

It’s a combination of several factors. Twitch has always been inconsistent with their moderation.  People like to abuse the auto-moderation through mass reports.  And people love to abuse any amount of freedom by immediately taking things too far, which is why we can’t have nice things.

I didn’t know you could replay them in the first game! I had the same problem, especially near the end of the game and in the DLC, the podcast kept getting cut off.

The difference is they weren’t keyboard warriors trying to co-opt a social struggle they barely understand that has nothing to do with them.

ESPEICALLY anything involving the Middle East.  That is a political minefield with no right answer.
